It's
a good
thing
that summer is finally coming as Beardies and their people are
firing up for the usual rounds of general and Regional
shows.
The Bearded Collie Club of the Golden West, in conjunction
with BCCA, hosted a competition in Vallejo, California, north of
the Bay Area. The images below are informal photos as I'm quite
sure that the official results will be announced by the Club. As
you can see, the Fairgrounds are beautiful.
I think everyone is
familiar with processes of bathing, combing and brushing prior to going
into the ring. When the coat is at a point there it looks really
ready for the judge..it's off to the arena and the emotion peaks.
After the judging its everyone
doing their own thing. For some there is a nap to take and for
others it taking shelter from the rain that held off until the show was
over!
