Before I retired I had a chance to travel to Huntsville, Alabama, on
business. Just a short distance south is Guntersville
(pronounced Gunnersville). As I had a day layover it was the
perfect way to spend that day. I was the Fall of the year and the
countryside was a blaze of color. At one point the road cut down
between the cliffs to a lower level and I was surrounded by
spectacular scenery.

In Northern California (and of course other places) a big annual
celebration is the Renaissance Faire. It lasts about a month in
the fall and the re-enactors dress and behave as they were in the
1400-1500 time frame. Below is a young lady that just having a ball
with that fish. When she approached someone to try and sell it,
she would approach from downwind.
